What is a Minnesota Driver Training School or Licensing Agent Bond?
Driving licensing agents and training schools must post surety bonds in order to legally conduct business in Minnesota. A Bond of Driver Licensing Agent is required pursuant to Minnesota Rule 7404.0370. The surety bond is conditioned upon the driver licensing agent who has made application to the Commissioner of Public Safety for the appointment of the business pursuant to the provision of Minnesota Statutes faithfully observing all laws of the State of Minnesota and the United States of America. The surety bond also ensures that bonded driver licensing agent is responsible for financial damages related to violations of laws by the principal or its employees, agents or representatives, or through willful or malicious wrong by these parties in the course of the business conduct.
