What is a Washington Pest Inspector Bond?
Structural Pest Inspectors who have made application to the Washington State Department of Agriculture for a license to operate as a structural pest inspection company in the State of Washington must provide proof of financial coverage. Two of the four options for proof of financial coverage include furnishing a surety bond as outlined in RCW 15.58.465(1)(b). The first option requires a surety bond in the amount of $25,000 and the second options requires a surety bond in the amount of $12,500 and an errors and omissions insurance policy in the coverage amount of $25,000.
