Illinois Professional Fund Raiser's Bond

A Professional Fund Raiser's Bond is required for those who have applied to the Attorney General of the State of Illinois for registration as professional fund raisers for a charitable organization. The surety bond obligates the bond principal to faithfully and honestly act in accordance with law, and comply with the provisions of "An Act to Regulate Solicitation and Collection of Funds for Charitable Purposes" of the State of Illinois. The principal must indemnify and the State of Illinois and any person who has a cause of action against the bonded principal for any malfeasance or misfeasance in the conduct of solicitation as such Professional Fund Raiser.
