North Carolina Professional Solicitor / Fundraiser Bond

A Professional Solicitor/Fund Raiser Bond is needed from the North Carolina Department of the Secretary of State for those having applied, or in the process of applying, to the State of North Carolina for a license to act as a “Solicitor” on behalf of a charitable organization or sponsor pursuant to 131F of the General Statutes of North Carolina. The bond is conditioned upon adherence to state statutes and shields the Department from liability arising from violations by the principal of any provision of such statute.
