A Boxing, Mixed Martial Arts and Tough Person Promoters Bond is a type of surety bond required by the Ohio Athletic Commission for those desiring to obtain a promoter’s license. These individuals are also referred to as “Promoter-Applicants" by the Commission. The purpose of this Surety Bond is to guarantee proper payment of the participants as required for any public or private competition that involves the sports of boxing, kickboxing, karate, tough person contests, or any other form of boxing or mixed martial arts. These participants may include Inspectors, Judges, Referees, Timekeepers, Physicians, Contestants and any other person assigned by the Ohio Athletic Commission, as defined by the rules bearing agency level 3773 of the Ohio Administrative Code.
