Surety bonds are a very specialized insurance product. We do not expect that candidates will have surety bond, or even insurance, experience, but similar experience such as banking, mortgage or general phone based customer service skills are certainly applicable.

The role will require keen attention to detail as well as direct customer interaction, so we are looking for talented and enthusiastic individuals to ensure that our customers receive outstanding quality and service. Our business is national and spans hundreds of industries, so customer profiles vary widely.

The role is really 2 roles in 1.

As an administrator obsessed with quality, you will work with various insurance companies, their software/systems, and our internal software/systems to issue surety bonds. To excel in this role, you need to be so well organized that interruptions from your customer service duties don't impede your ability to stay on track with administration work. Success is about attention to detail and understanding process measurement and improvement.

As a customer service representative (CSR) you will act as a liaison, provide product/services information and resolve any problems that our customers face with accuracy and efficiency. The best CSRs are genuinely excited to help customers. They’re patient, empathetic, and passionately communicative. You'll need to be a problem solver who exudes confidence to customers over the phone and in writing.

Salary & Benefits

The job is located at our headquarters in the Park Circle area of North Charleston, South Carolina. The work environment consists of our spacious and comfortable contemporary industrial-loft-design office suite with high ceilings and floor-to-ceiling windows. An outdoor pavilion/park and numerous awesome restaurants, bars and shops are all adjacent to the office building.
