Maryland Driver Education Program Bond

A Surety Bond of Driver Education Program is required by the Maryland Motor Vehicle Administration in a coverage amount or penal sum of $40,000. The surety bond must be furnished by those having applied or about to make application to the Maryland Motor Vehicle Administration to obtain a Driving School License allowing them to offer courses in driver training as prescribed by the Transportation Article of the Annotated Code of Maryland and Regulations. The surety bond obligates that the business is in full compliance with those Sections of the Transportation Article, of the Annotated Code of Maryland, as described in the Regulations of the Maryland Motor Vehicle Administration.
