Hunting or Fishing License Seller Bonds

The Rhode Island Department of Environmental Management requires authorized Agents who sell hunting and/or fishing licenses to post a $10,000 surety bond. The bond is for the benefit of the General Treasurer of the state of Rhode Island and ensures that authorized agents ethically fulfill their financial obligations to the state in regards to collection of payments for hunting and/or fishing licenses and issuance of those licenses.
