Oklahoma Service Contract Provider Bonds

A corporate surety bond is required for home service contract providers writing home service contracts in Oklahoma pursuant to O.S. Title 36 §6752. The surety bond is mandated for all who have made application to the Insurance Commissioner of the State of Oklahoma for registration as a home service contract provider in accordance with state laws. The issuance of a registration by the Oklahoma Insurance Commissioner is conditioned upon the home service contract provider furnishing a surety bond in the amount as set forth by the office of the Insurance Commissioner. This surety bond ensures that business is conducted by the home service contract provider in accordance with the provisions set forth in the Oklahoma Insurance Code.
