Georgia Paid Solicitor Bond

A $10,000 Paid Solicitor Surety Bond is required for registration of paid solicitors and fundraisers pursuant to the Georgia Charitable Solicitations Act. Those applying to the Secretary of State of the State of Georgia for registration as a Paid Solicitor for the purpose of acting as a Paid Solicitor for a charitable organization must furnish and maintain an active, in force surety bond pursuant to O.C.G.A. § 43-17-1 et seq. (Charitable Solicitations Act of 1988). The bond protects those having a cause of action against the bonded principal for any malfeasance or misfeasance in the conduct of solicitation as a Paid Solicitor in the State of Georgia.
