California Vehicle Verifier Bond

A Vehicle Verifier Surety Bond is required by the State of California Department of Motor Vehicles Licensing Operations Division Occupational Licensing Branch in accordance with Section 11301 of the California Vehicle Code. The bond ensures that the vehicle verifier or inspector shall not cause any financial loss to the State of California resulting from unethical business conduct under the Vehicle Verifier permit. The bond also protects against losses to third parties due to incorrect verification of an engine, vehicle verification number or hull identification number. The surety bond runs continuously through subsequent licensing and permit periods until cancelled.
